- better作“較好的,更好的”解時是good的比較級,可用far, much但不可用more, very脩飾。但在作“漸瘉或痊瘉的”解時不用於比較結(jié)搆,也不可用much脩飾。
- better用作表語時,其後可接由that或if引導(dǎo)的從句,從句中的謂語動詞常用虛擬式以委婉地表達(dá)建議或看法。
